Towards more effective and efficient local governance in Armenia

Good Local Governance Programme South Caucasus (Armenia) supports the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development of the Republic of Armenia in the process of territorial and administrative reform ( enlargement of municipalities), as well as promotion of e-governance and sustainable regional development.

Having the objective of strengthening local self-government and improving public services at local level, several funding and implementing organisations, mainly BMZ, SDC, USAID, GIZ, UNDP, CoE and ATDF have combined efforts through finding synergies in supporting the Government of Armenia to carry out the major reform in the country.
